I’ve overnighted and dayhiked it. Once on July 4th weekend and only saw two other parties. Once on a weekday in September and saw nobody. Once on a Wednesday during the summer and there were about 100 scouts hiking from Camp Loll, so call the Crossroads of the West Scout Council and find out what day they are doing their dayhikes from camp.

After getting past the popular Hickman Bridge area, we encountered a total of two other parties on the 9 mile hike.

Hey Jason,

Good to hear from you, thanks for the excellent suggestions. I have hiked Table Mountain in the Tetons from the Driggs, Idaho, side of the range, it has a classic views of the Grand, Middle, and South Tetons. I’ve heard that Wildrose in Death Valley is a good one, it’s on my list; I have hiked the park’s highest, Telescope Peak, a wonderful dayhike.

You’ll enjoy Taylor Canyon and Eagle Peak. Stay safe and keep in touch.

Static Peak in the Tetons is awesome. Another good hike that is not as popular is Table Mountain (not actually in the NP) but gives great views of the Tetons as well.

Another good one, albeit similar, in Death Valley is Wildrose Peak.
